Jason Kayne is an Associate of Boucher LLP. His practice includes complex personal injury cases, cases on behalf of sexual abuse victims, and complex consumer litigation. Licensed to practice law in both New York and California, Kayne gained a unique perspective from several years on the defense side in a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, motor vehicle negligence, professional negligence/malpractice, and construction accidents. He uses his knowledge of defense tactics to better advocate for justice on behalf of injured plaintiffs.
Kayne is admitted to the State Bars of California and New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and other professional organizations.
Kayne received his Juris Doctor in 2014 from Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York. Through the New York City Civil Court’s Volunteer Lawyer for a Day (VLFD) program, he represented consumer debtors in settlement negotiations and helped vacate default judgments that favored predatory credit card lenders. He was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future distinction for his legal writing.
Prior to attending law school, Kayne attended Occidental College in his hometown of Los Angeles. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2010.
